I’m Morgan Conover. I’m a writer and nature enthusiast. Each week in this newsletter I’ll discuss a curious subject from the natural world, such as the physics of mountain laurel flowers, micro-animals called moss piglets that have survived the conditions of outer space, vole populations unexpectedly increasing after the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, or what the continents might look like a billion years from now due to shifts in plate tectonics.
